Welcome to the Carrillo Ballroom

This is the entrance to one of the best dance floors in the country!
The Carrillo Ballroom was built in 1914 and will soon to be restored back to her former glory. At this point, the Ballroom will close in July 2009.
But until that time, the Friday and Saturday night dances will continue.

A sprung floor, friendly people, and great live music all combine to make the first and third Friday's a very special Santa Barbara treat since 1986. Give it a try and judge for yourself.

The night starts with a beginning swing lesson at 7:30.

Then there is dancing from 8:30 until Midnight.

Students: $10

Exit from Highway 101 at Carrillo Street.
If you're coming from the South, turn right.
Drive one block past State Street. You'll see the Community Recreation Center on the far right corner.

Aug 27th the Ballroom is scheduled to close until at least Jan 2010.
During that time dances will continue in the next door gym with recorded
music and a reduced admission price of $10/$8.
